Jump to navigationJump to searchA division is a method by which the Sudoku grid is divided into 9 houses, each containing 9 cells. There are no overlapping areas between the houses within a single division.
Constraints which do not cover the entire grid, such as the diagonals in Sudoku-X, are not divisions.

Sudoku Variation Divisions
- Windoku
- 4 window panes, 4 groups of styles and 1 disjoint group of corner cells.
- Jigsaw
- Irregular regions of 9 cells, also known as jigsaw pieces.
